Under general supervision, responds to and diagnoses problems through discussions with users using problem recognition, research, isolation, and resolution steps. Recommends procedures and controls for moderately complex problem prevention via request, meetings or Help Desk through emails, incoming calls and walk-ins. Operates, monitors/updates console systems, peripheral equipment, and computing/networking systems. Technical/User/Business writing skills/activities. Prepares procurement and user documentation including shopping carts and other documentation. Assists programmers, users, IT personnel and stakeholders to ensure programs/needs and are met/understood. Assists in monitoring and maintaining system data integrity. Troubleshoots basic user errors in systems and finds resolution. Works with vendors, programmers and other staff to resolve issues. Assists with reports to management on project status. Troubleshoots and restores service by analyzing, identifying and diagnosing faults and symptoms using established processes and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned or required to include various project participation, assisting in the purchase of hardware and software, help desk on call responsibilities.A high school diploma and experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, or processing of information in a data processing environment or related systems.
