Job Description & Summary

As part of our Policy, Strategy and Leadership team, you’ll provide strategic oversight, manage operations, and develop policies for all aspects of the Human Resources team.

This position will be part of PwC IT Services (US) LLC, a member of the PwC network of firms. Demonstrates knowledge of the policies and protocols related to benefit plan administration with in-depth attention to detail, organizational skills and agility to deliver quality deliverables and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Understanding of the Disability and Leave policies and make sure administrator is consistent with our practices;

  • Understanding statutory regulations (federal, state or city/local) interplay and compliance with federal regulations, and multiple types of leaves (Disability, Family Medical, Parental, Military, etc.);

  • Complying with all applicable leave legal requirements for federal, state and government regulatory filings and processes outside of the TPA (Third Party Administrator);

  • Reviewing and updating necessary corporate communications and plan materials both internally and externally (TPA) for employees and key stakeholders throughout the leave process.

  • Reconciliation of monthly benefit billings. follow up with carriers on adjustments and coordinating with Benefits Leader and AP the vendor billings for timely payments;

  • Maintaining and tracking Leaves of Absence in conjunction with our TPA and Workday for streamlining leaves and to preparing for upcoming leave along with those returning back to work and/or intermittent leave tracking;

  • Coordinating and addressing leave issues with applicable internal/external parties such as TP (Third Party) vendors/administrators, Payroll, Benefits, Legal, & Human Resources, to effectively manage the entire leave process;

  • Analyzing and consulting with Benefits, HR, Legal regarding all ADA (American with Disabilities Act) accommodation requests and coordinating with managers and/or Talent Consultants;

  • Responding to benefit inquiries from employees and leaders about plan provisions (annual enrollments, qualifying events, eligibility, claims);

  • Proficiency in all facets of benefits and retirement plan programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long term Disability and other benefits including open enrollment;

  • Ability to work both independently and proactively as well as in a highly collaborative environment, while maintaining confidentiality and use tact and discretion of confidential information while contributing to a positive working environment;

  • Demonstrating problem solving ability with thorough experience in complex issue resolution;

  • Communicating cogently to all levels of internal staff and management, both verbally and written and utilizing interpersonal skills by collaborating effectively, communicating clearly, concisely and tactfully; and

  • Proficient with Google Suite (e.g. Docs, Slides, Sheets, Drive etc.), and Business Intelligence (BI) analysis tools (e.g. Alteryx); Microsoft Suite, Workday and strong excel experience.

Compensation range: $99,000 - $165,000 and may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and where the applicant resides within California.

For Applicants Residing in Colorado

Compensation range: $93,000 - $145,000 plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.

For Applicants Residing in New York State

Compensation range: $86,500 - $165,000 plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.

For Applicants Residing in Washington

Compensation range: $105,500 - $165,000 plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
