We are seeking a Senior Information Technology Service Desk professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. They will also be responsible for managing and maintaining our key applications including Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Remedy software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to queries over the phone, via email, or in person.
- Write, maintain, and implement scripts for automation.
- Train computer users on software and hardware on-site or remotely.
- Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved.
- Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
- Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
- Document solutions with the goal of establishing a self-help portal.
- Generate Service Desk performance metrics.
- Produce hardware and software inventory reports.
- Ensure Service Desk software is configured to best support the needs of our organization.
- Lead the Information Technology safety and security auditing program.
- Work with our leveraged partners for infrastructure and security support.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience setting up Service Desk software is required.
Proficiency in automation and scripting.
Familiarity with Microsoft Intune.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
