Job description

ABOUT THE POSITION: You'll utilize your sharp analytical skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and don't expect to sit at a desk all day! You'll handle the "nuts & bolts" of Service Desk operations by troubleshooting end-user hardware/software problems, managing inventory, and supporting internal/external network administration.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:You'll need an Associate's degree or IT certifications, along with 1-3 years of IT experience. You're an exceptional problem-solver who enjoys tackling first-level technical challenges. Additionally, you're an effective communicator, capable of asking the right questions and guiding end-users on fundamental IT procedures. Bringing your knowledge of networking and connectivity concepts, software applications, and productivity tools, along with your enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies, will be essential. You'll be competent with Azure AD, SharePoint, and Office 365 administration. Having experience with Jira Service Management and Microsoft Intune is a plus!
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
You will PERFORM by:
  • Troubleshooting and fixing end-user hardware/software and Enterprise Application problems.
  • Responding to all end-user requests in a timely, cost-effective manner.
  • Conducting device provisioning, desktop imaging, and software installation, as well as end user provisioning in Azure and local AD, ERP, Exchange, etc.
  • Tracking and ordering all hardware, software, and supply inventory accurately.
  • Managing our Help Desk application for assignment of tickets.
  • Administering Microsoft AD domain accounts by creating and disabling accounts as well as resetting passwords.
  • Overseeing corporate networked printer fleet.

You will EXPLORE by:
  • Maintaining network security per the JWS Security Policy.
  • Maintaining the phone and voicemail systems per established guidelines.
  • Performing hardware/software installations, upgrades, and any end-user hardware and phone system adds/moves/changes

You will INNOVATE by:
  • Driving towards departmental KPIs.
  • Monitoring network health and mitigating issues.
