Your role will...
As a Specialist, Information Security you will be responsible for maintaining, and continuously improving ReSource Pro's Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), risk management, and privacy programs with an objective of maintaining the confidentiality, availability and integrity of ReSource Pro's and its clients' information. The Specialist, Information Security will support the implementation, maintenance, and contribute to improving information security controls, programs, and initiatives to ensure their efficiency and effectiveness.
This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the continental United States.
After 3 months you will...
- Monitor and respond to security issues, inquires, and incidents and perform routine operations (daily, monthly, quarterly, etc.) to ensure SLAs/KPIs and customer satisfaction are met
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge management and including creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation and providing training within the team
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide direct support for global security operations
- Maintain Information Security policies, procedures, and programs and keep up to date
- Monitor and track compliance with security policies and procedures and participate in the implementation of corrective actions
- Support security audits and contribute to certification (ISO 27001)
- Maintain and support awareness training
- Participate in risk evaluation, identification, and mitigation and contribute to maintaining a healthy security posture
What you need to be successful...
- Bachelors degree in IT Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, or related field
- 5 years experience in IT OR
- Working knowledge of at least of two areas:
- ISO/ISE 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- SSAE 18 audit standard
- Incident response processes
- Security Operations Center processes
- Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risks)
- Knowledge of IT security principle and methods
- Knowledge of application vulnerabilities
- Business continuity and disaster recovery methodologies
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity and privacy
- Self-motivated and innovative
- Have a global mindset for working with different cultures and backgrounds
- Have a result-oriented mindset that focuses on end goals and outcomes
Your Compensation…
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes annual bonus eligibility, benefits, and other opportunities at ReSource Pro. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other ReSource Pro employees. This is a remote position and the salary range for most locations for this role is $36,617- $69,010. The salary range may vary based on the specific geographic location in which the candidate resides.
