Job Description:

During our paid internship program, interns will have the opportunity to work on major projects and showcase their skills and talents. This program will provide each student with valuable insight, hands-on experience, and networking opportunities that will prepare each intern for their future. Interns will work alongside leaders and mentors on assignments related to your field of study to take your classroom learning to the next level. We are seeking dynamic and energetic interns who are ready to seize the opportunity and help us charge into a more sustainable, all-electric future transportation powered by Ultium Cells batteries.

This Job is responsible for Risk/Vulnerability Management & Information leakage Monitoring of Company's Information Security System.

We are seeking Information Security Intern candidates for the Information Security Department at Ultium Cells battery plant in Warren, OH. This position will be responsible for work that includes:

• Assisting with User Security Training
• Supporting Information Security department with research and other administrative tasks including data entry, filing, spreadsheets and reports
• Identifying and evaluating business site risks/vulnerabilities and prepare information security actions
• Regularly audit and improve the status and practices of business site information security
• Assisting with handling and response of information security incidents (act as Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT))
• Assisting with regular management of internal Information Security Polices, Standards, Procedures and Template
• Monitoring for information leakages
• Supporting the implementation of new IT security systems
• Other tasks as needed

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Current Junior or Senior level Computer Science or Information Technology student or recent graduate
• Critical thinking, problem solving, and a continuous improvement mindset
• Able to work flexible hours occasionally
• Demonstrated teamwork and effectiveness in accomplishing goals
• Ability to solve problems by proactively collaborating with cross-functional teams on issues
• Excellent analytical and organization skills
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• MS Office tool-based report writing and oral communication skills
• Strong desire to learn and be flexible
• Self-Directed and ability to work in a diverse workforce.
• Preferred: Bilingual skills, writing and speaking, in English and Korean
