Overview:
What's the role

The Senior Analyst Information Security helps to keep LLA safe, learning skills and knowledge in many areas of cyber security, while helping to achieve LLA’s mission goals and initiatives. Need to be passionate, conscientious, and customer-focused candidate to strengthen our team even further. As part of the LLA information security team, your role will focus on IT and network security (architecture, securing applications, networks, services and information, vulnerability management, IAM, and employee outreach). Will work with employees and project teams within the company to ensure system vulnerabilities are addressed and patched on a timely basis, considering business impact. Will team up with our Operational teams to identify risks, understand the business impacts, and work with staff to mitigate the risks.
Responsibilities:

How can you add value?


  • Lead and implement initiatives around IT security, data protection, endpoint protection, identity management, application security, infrastructure security, and network security.
  • Take part and lead the security process in the region, resources, and relationships.
  • Lead implementations of information security projects.
  • Implement the information security and cybersecurity architecture.
  • Assist Security Operations Center (SOC) personnel with advanced threat identification and incident response actions.
  • Task Lead for Compliance Sprints - Work with management and Operational teams to identify risks and vulnerabilities that require immediate action
  • Demonstrate and ensure compliance with the Customer First Philosophy, all Liberty Latin America's policies and procedures including the Code of Conduct and Liberty safety standards and procedures.
  • Other functions may be assigned.
Qualifications:

What do you need?


Preferred education/ qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required (B.S. in information security, information technology, or related focus) and 5 years of professional experience in information technology.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity and GRC.
  • General knowledge of industry security frameworks
  • Some technical knowledge of networks, operating systems, and/or applications
  • Good time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong writing & communication skills, with attention to details
  • Analytical Thinking and Decisive Judgment - analyzing issues and problems systematically, gathering broad and balanced input, drawing sound conclusions, and translating conclusions into timely decisions and actions.
  • Drive for Results: Makes things happen; Is proactive; balances "analysis" with "doing"; sets high standards for self
  • Must be a self-starter and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience in conducting cyber related investigation.
  • Build and maintain direct relationships across LLA’s project teams and with OpCo POCs
  • English and Spanish preferred.
