We’re seeking a Scrum Master to assist in our development of innovative solutions for the healthcare industry. You will be working alongside some of the best software developers and product managers in healthcare technology.  By working for a rapidly growing company, your hard work and creativity will bring an immediate, significant impact to our organization and the healthcare providers who utilize our platform.  The Scrum Master will provide leadership of Scrum activities and participate in all phases of Agile product development, working with business product owners, subject-matter experts, technical resources, and quality analysts to drive value delivery. This Scrum Master position provides overall context, business networking, and process guidance, acting as a domain expert and leader for Agile teams.

The role aligns and directs development activities including integration of ThoroughCare Solutions thus supporting the mission, vision strategies, objectives, and goals of business in driving world-class solutions to meet the needs of a clinically focused user community.

General Responsibilities

This role will be held accountable to the following key deliverables and responsibilities:

• Leadership and high-level techno-functional consultation for the following solution teams:
  • Analytics systems and solutions development 
  • Mobile solutions 
  • ThoroughCare solution 
• Lead the scrum teams using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.

• Contribute to an environment of cross-functional teamwork within the organization's agile-based project lifecycle.
• Align with the product managers and development teams to monitor sprints, take responsibility in sprint burndown, improve velocity and ensure overall continuous improvement.
• Applies business strategy while driving technology strategy, balancing short term and long term needs to ensure that the architecture can scale and evolve accordingly
• Lead the scrum teams with minimal to no oversight required
• Resolve conflict and issues that occur within the scrum teams
• Help the scrum teams achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
• Report on team progress each sprint through defined metrics

• Partner with both internal and external users (as needed) to identify and document technical requirements (functional and non-functional) 
• Demonstrate leadership in understanding and defining technical systems requirements, technical and testing objectives, and deliverables.
• Perform continued evaluations of our solutions to identify opportunities for technical product improvements 
• Facilitation of SAFe ceremonies for the Agile team. Understanding of Agile principles and systems thinking.
• Perform other duties as requested and assigned
• Additional Responsibilities: Find methods to effectively manage the product backlog, implement changes and steps to increase the team’s productivity, Implement Project Management/Best Practices, Keep all Parties on Track and Informed, and monitor project progress and provide timely feedback

Skills/Qualifications

• Ability to influence decision making and communicate ideas to cross functional teams and all levels of management
• Competent Leadership skills and displays professionalism in presentation skills, negotiation and resolving conflict 
• Experience working as a Scrum Master in a scale agile framework preferred; including not limited to: 
  • Facilitation and organization of scrum ceremonies
  • Ability to work with and lead teams
  • Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
  • Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
  • Exhibiting strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment
• Self-motivation and ability to stay focused when challenged; handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to flourish under pressure and get the job done with attention to detail and within deadline constraints
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a service-oriented attitude in a team environment. Includes interaction with internal staff as well as customer staff members and the ability to effectively convey computing concepts to non-technical staff.
• College degree or equivalent work experience required.  BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Management or a related field recommended.
• SAFe agile certification or training preferred. 
• Must have excellent knowledge in Jira/GitHub or other development agile tracking tools, Google, Microsoft products, Zoom web meetings or equivalent software products
• Software testing experience preferred.
