Job Summary
The PMO Support/Release Analyst participates in the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating, reporting, and the management of releases across the enterprise for both infrastructure and applications across various portfolios. The analyst provides analytical and technical support to Program Management Office (PMO) tools, including software to support release, testing, and Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) processes.
Responsibilities
· Assist in the planning, coordination, and tracking of all production-related activities required to support successful deployments
· Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure compliance with IT Compliance policies and regulations, including evaluation of documentation and approvals related to the change.
· Create and distribute communications regarding release status, Change Advisory Board agendas, and scorecards, including executive status reports
· Perform activities to support emergency and expedited releases procedures ensuring timely deployment of time-sensitive changes
· Develop and maintain release policy & procedure documentation and training materials documentation, ensuring that they are accurate and up-to-date.
· Generate and maintain dashboards and metrics
· Facilitate Change Advisory Board meetings, including issuing meeting minutes.
· Authorize changes for deployment in release and application management systems
· Provide timely escalation to IT Leadership where necessary/appropriate
· Identify opportunities to improve the procedures and tools used for the distribution and implementation of IT changes into production and use of PMO tools
· Perform administrator activities to support the use of PMO tools, including but not limited to, Jira, Smartsheet, and Microfocus ALM
· Develop and deliver user training materials and programs to support PMO tools that meet the needs of different audiences, including in-person and virtual training sessions
· Provide end-user support and act as the “go to person” for day-to-day troubleshooting and assistance
· Contribute to the management of the Smartsheet Community of Practice (CoP), striving to promote self-sufficiency and enhance the capabilities of the business user community.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
· Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science or a related field

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • The ability to quickly learn new skills and adapt to changes in the work environment, including the ability to effectively apply past learning to new situations.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, work environments, and demands, including the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to proactively identify areas for improvement, adapt quickly to changing circumstances and take ownership of their own professional development.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and to effectively influence and educate others on compliance requirements and objectives
  • Judgment, attention to detail and critical thinking skills to evaluate information, identify key issues, and make effective decisions that align with the compliance objectives and procedures.
  • Prior experience with collaborative tools e.g., Jira, Confluence is a plus
  • Familiarity with MS Office/Visio/ SharePoint is a plus
  • General knowledge of SDLC methodologies & framework especially SAFe agile framework is a plus
  • Exposure to Dev/Ops and CI/CD operations and concepts is a plus
