What You Can Expect

As the IT Program Management Operations (PMO) Director in Houston, Texas for ENGIE’s Global Energy Management & Sales you will collaborate with IT leadership in managing the IT budget, including integration with our global IT team. The IT PMO Director will also make recommendations for process improvement and produce KPI’s for monthly reporting. Every day, you will work directly for ENGIE’s Energy Marketing North America, Inc. (EEMNA) Chief Information Officer (CIO) managing critical projects, and applying standards across functional teams. Help with resource management in support of IT expansion to meet the Company’s growth, and implement effective IT project management methodology and set standards of performance at the steering committee level.


What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field or a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in project management
  • A minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in Program Management delivering on robust projects
  • Must hold a project management professional (PMP) certification
  • Expert knowledge implementing robust project management standards and processes necessary to scale up the capabilities and delivery of the IT department and ensure efficient project resource spending practices
  • Manage the opex and capex IT budget and resources
  • Directly manage the aspects of the IT strategy including migration of appropriate legacy data to the ENGIE Digital platform in AWS
  • Coordinate and track developments with the application teams for data integration, such as ETRM systems, ISO Market Systems, SCADA, fundamentals, and data warehouses
  • Working knowledge of Energy Industry and the ISO markets

Compensation

Salary Range: $146,300 – $224,135 USD annually


In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
