We’re looking for an IT Operations Specialist I to handle end user requests, routine branch/department and enterprise technology support, and assists with other IT projects as directed. Our ideal candidate is reliable, dependable, self-motivated and eager who possesses strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple work tasks. As an end-user Operations Specialist, you’ll proactively monitor for potential issues, document work orders and record-keeping, problem-solve and troubleshoot, respond to incidents, and maintain security and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
• Respond to requests for support in a timely and courteous manner
• Provide remote support and resolution for end-user technology, including, but not limited to: desktop computers, laptops, software, and printers and scanners
• Partner with other in-house staff members to resolve computer hardware and software issues
• Proactively monitor to identify potential issues and escalate issues as appropriate
• Problem-solve, troubleshoot, and recommend solutions to enhance end-user technology
• Actively respond to urgent incidents/outages/disruptions, understand disaster recovery policies and practices, and participate in disaster recovery testing
• Maintain strict confidentiality on bank information and adhere to all bank policies
• Support multiple bank locations to complete support tasks and/or perform other duties and special projects
Qualifications
• Must be a reliable, dependable, self-motivated, and eager team player
• Working knowledge of end-user technology including: desktop computers, laptops, software, peripheral devices, TCP/IP, network printing, antivirus software, Microsoft products and Active Directory
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple work tasks
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Related/equivalent experience will be considered. Related certifications preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
