The IT Manager is responsible for all onsite aspects of the Information Technology for all in-park locations, Gros Ventre, Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis and Flagg Ranch. Management of Datacenter, Domain, Network, Telephone, and IT technical staff for all above properties. Maintain and implement security compliance, as well as corporate standards on all Technology systems and applications. Develop and track department budget, forecasts and manage capital projects with the assistance of the Regional IT Manager. High level of business partnership, communication and organization required.

• Expected Pay Range: $65,000 - $75,000 + annual bonus.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reports directly to the Regional IT Manager and supports in any and all aspects of departmental operations. Acts as IT point of contact and coordination for all technical projects and support issues.
• Daily supervision, coordination and support of local IT team to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
• Works closely with Enterprise IT team members and users at Vail Resorts Corporate.
• Primary focus is customer satisfaction, system reliability, and adherence to corporate computing standards including PCI and SOC compliance.
• Develops/modifies and establishes rules, policies, standards, and objectives consistent with those of the company to ensure efficient operation of individual departments.
• Coordinates functioning of equipment seasonally over multiple properties to prepare for the onboarding of 950 employees.
• Plans, coordinates and purchases personal computer hardware, server hardware, network devices and other equipment according to department standards and procedures with Regional IT Manager.
• Maintains vendor relationships, procures pricing and technical specifications for equipment and projects on a continuing basis. Strategic planning as related to vendor direction and future technological changes is necessary.
• Plan and implement future technologies and projects to meet budgets and business needs.
• Participates as a member of the leadership team in planning, problem resolution, and reviewing various departments’ performance.
• Strong team leadership in project management and implementation is needed to ensure proper communication and coordination with all of IT and key departments. Maintains relationships with all departments and departmental contacts as needed for successful implementation of projects and maintenance schedules.
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training and providing professional development opportunities for IT staff members. Performs performance appraisals on an annual basis for each staff member.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in MIS or equivalent
• At least 5 years related work experience in network and system administration, preferably in Hospitality
• Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization including executive level presentations
• Possess strong problem solving skills with an attitude and focus on excellence in customer service
• Experience in PCI and Sox compliant environments
• Advanced knowledge of domain, datacenter, and application administration 
• Advanced certifications in Microsoft or Cisco Systems is a plus
• MCSA, CNA, CCNA, VCP certification(s) preferred
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. of computer equipment or components, as needed

The expected pay range is $65,000 - $75,000 + annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
