Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Iowa or New York office:
IT Leader, Marsh Affinity US/Canada
What can you expect?
In this role you will be the Affinity IT Leader with responsibility for Canada and the US areas with oversight of 100+ employees/contractors and an annual budget of $10MM. The IT Leader reports to the Marsh IT Director for Global Affinity, Digital and Client Facing Applications.

We will count on you to:
  • Help lead the transformation of Marsh IT and partner with the US and Canada Managing Leaders, and respective IT teams, to build a world-class IT organization and ensure the evolution of the technology landscape is in line with regional and global goals
  • As the Affinity, US/CanadaIT Leader, support the US/Canada Executive team as an advisor on all matters related to Operations and Technology (O&T)
  • Work with the Regional Heads of Operations and Technology to ensure the development and implementation of strategies critical to achieving operational excellence
  • Build a long-term operating vision for Operations and Technology, including the development and management of targeted centers of excellence for operational effectiveness and IT
  • Support the Global Affinity Director to move the IT organization to become business-outcome aligned including the setup op regional IT product organizations and global platform teams
  • Push the Marsh organization forward by implementing more IT programs using agile as the preferred IT implementation methodology establishing and implementing a Marsh agile manifesto
  • Aggressively support Marsh's five-year platform consolidation objectives realizing significant IT spend reductions opportunities reallocating capital to digital transformation IT programs
  • Continue journey to modernize and rationalize the technology landscape in US/Canada region

What you need to have:
  • 8+ years of IT experience with demonstrated results in leading and managing large technology transformations for complex, global organizations
  • Proven track record of disruptive thinking and innovation within IT
  • Experience in contemporary technology and digital transformation
  • Ability to build partnerships and develop collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to address the rapidly evolving vulnerability requirements and compliance targets within Marsh, including explicitly addressing GDPR and US state laws/regulations requiring protection systems (people, process, technologies)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information to senior-level audiences in simple, logical business terms
  • Agile or Scaled Agile experience

The applicable base salary range for this role is $116,200 to $232,400.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
