IT Infrastructure Engineer:
The IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting MarketStar's networks, servers, and systems.
Location: Ogden, UT - Hybrid
What will you do?
- Works with IT and Business stakeholders and management to provide strategic direction. Keeps abreast of emerging industry products and trends. Build relationships to facilitate communication and meet business objectives.
- Works as part of the infrastructure team to provide solutions and support for MarketStar's various client teams and requirements.
- Works with the Security and Compliance department to ensure proper documentation and compliance with corporate and client policies.
- Work closely with the Development teams on setup and administer Azure technologies.
- Analyze and troubleshoot network anomalies quickly to maintain business continuity.
- Manage backup solution (Rubrik)
- Remediation of vulnerabilities discovered in audits & scans.
- Administration of endpoint protection on servers (Sentinel One)
- Administration and remediation in Microsoft 365 security center
- Collection of audit evidence related to infrastructure systems.
- Monitors all systems for uptime, jitter, latency and packet loss.

- Light PowerShell Scripting
- Domain Administration
- File Services (DFSR)
- Updates / Patching (WSUS / Intune)
- Azure Infrastructure Administration
- Expertise in building Azure native enterprise applications and migrating applications from on-premises to Azure environments
- Intune Administration
- Database/Application health and performance monitoring experience using services such as OMS and Application Insights
- Ability to architect and deliver scalable enterprise solutions combining various Azure services
- Clear understanding of networking, VPNs and routing protocols.
- vSphere Administration
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field with 5+ years directly related experience in IT Infrastructure systems
- Experience with shared or multi-tenant environments and related security concerns
- Experience with MS Windows Server platforms, Active Directory, and Virtual environments (preferably VMWare.)
- Experience with Cisco switching, Cisco FTD, and Palo Alto firewalls
- Strong experience supporting mission critical production and planning enterprise scale project solutions to meet business needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Ability to analyze and provide explanation and problem resolution for complex technical issues
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational, time management and judgment skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines, schedules, and budgeted costs
- Available during non-standard business hours and weekends for routine maintenance and unplanned support issues.
