TITLE: IT Inforce Apps Intern

POSITION SUMMARY:

The intern will gain exciting real-world Life & Annuity Insurance domain experience at a thriving company, having the opportunity to interact with multiple IT teams including application development, data analytics and information security. This interaction will provide a foundational understanding of a high performing & collaborative IT organization that delivers solutions to NLG employees and customers/partners. More specifically, the intern will engage with business stakeholders and work closely with Inforce Apps team to develop solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Collaborate with Inforce technical teams to deliver solutions for NLG internal & external users.
2. Participate in daily SCRUM meetings with business and technical teams to review, prioritize and deliver solutions.
3. Develop technical solutions in Azure Spring Cloud & API Management.
4. Work w/ DevOps tools and technologies including GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Jfrog, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Working towards completion of an undergraduate degree in Computer Science.

The starting rate listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.
