This positon will work under the direction of the Information Technology Director and will have a number of responsibilities with the IT department of our family-owned, growing construction company. Working within our team of IT professionals will provide a great opportunity to provide exceptional service to our user base and assist in the expansion of our IT systems.
Position Responsibilities
- Work with End Users and Managers to support business applications.
- Lead and manage the IT helpdesk team, ensuring high-quality technical support is delivered to all users.
- Monitor helpdesk performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
- Assist Systems Administrator and IT Director in Developing and implementing helpdesk policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Help ensure the MBC IT Framework is being followed both inside the IT department and with end users in business units.
- Assist IT Management with creating schedules for project deployments, communicate with users, and help ensure quality standards to the MBC IT Framework.
- Collaborate with other IT personnel to align helpdesk activities with broader IT goals and initiatives.
- Ensure Help Desk Tickets are correctly assigned and coordinate the communication and resolution of tickets.
- Provide training to users on the proper procedures and processes to use software applications.
- Provide regular reports to IT management on helpdesk performance and issues.
- Manage helpdesk software and tools, ensuring they are optimized for efficient service delivery.
Position Requirements
- Proficient in documentation of process and data flow using software tools (Asana, Visio, etc.)
- Familiar with SQL database setup, data structure, queries, and reporting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiar with Microsoft Access as well as ODBC
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive Attitude
- Very Detail Oriented
- Excellent Listening skills
- Excellent Problem solving skills within defined framework
- Some overnight travel may be required
- Occasional after hours and weekend work required
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to operate company vehicles
- Familiar with Mobile Device Management and iOS platform
