Come join the Tech Team of one of Madison’s Top Places to work! We understand the importance and critical role our Tech team plays in the day to day operations of our business. This role will provide technical support assisting end users with their various technical skills from limited to advance to support their daily duties. This position may require you to travel to job trailers and property offices to support our staff. We offer a strong PTO program (9 holidays and 17 other PTO hours as start). This positions primary responsibilities:
§ Provides technical support via phone or email to corporate and remote users of computer applications and hardware (e.g., PCs, servers, mainframes). Investigates and resolves user issues. Troubleshoots software, hardware, and network issues.
§ Assists users and provides support for personal computers/peripherals. Also completes ordering, tracking, imaging, and deployment for the IT department.
§ Maintains troubleshooting tracking log ensuring timely resolution of problems. Also responsible for documentation for system maintenance and development.
§ Collaborates with other IT functions including network services, software systems and/or application development in order to restore service and/or identify problems.
§ Assists in the purchase of PC's and PC components.
§ Identifies, scans and cleans infected desktop/laptop systems.
§ Documents solutions to problems and recommends fundamental changes to systems configurations to prevent recurrences.
§ Provides feedback on problematic trends and patterns in technical support to team lead and/or supervisor.
§ Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
Requirements
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- Associate degree or specialized training in IT field preferred
- Minimum of one year of previous IT experience required
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, iOS, Android and Windows
- Proficient knowledge of printers, desktops, laptops and networking equipment
- Valid driver's license and access to transportation to go to property site on limited occassions
