The IT Specialist provides user support and customer service on company-supported computer applications and platforms and troubleshoots problems and advises on the appropriate action, adheres to and supports company cyber security policies and participates in the creation and completion of IT related projects.
The position is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position may regularly require long hours and frequent weekend work.

Essential Functions...
- Deliver technical support to users face to face, over the phone, or online
- Diagnose, solve and repair issues with hardware and software systems
- Use available information resources to respond to queries
- Suggest appropriate solutions to users
- Adhere to established Help Desk procedures
- Operate Help Desk software
- Redirect problems to suitable sources
- Identify and rank urgent issues
- Track and document problem solving processes
- Contribute actively to IT projects that extend beyond Help Desk tickets
- Report recurring problems to management
- Stay current with system changes and updates
- Follow and support all cyber security policies
- CompTIA A+ Certified preferred
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Net+ Preferred
- CompTIA Security+ or similar preferred
- Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware, and other equipment
- Knowledge and experience of customer service practices
- Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing Help Desk support
- Effective oral and written communication skills
