It Global Compliance Specialist

Purpose of Position:
Responsible for continually optimizing the General Computing Controls to ensure efficiency, clarity and effectiveness. This role serves as a liaison between Internal/External Audit and Information Technology departments by coordinating the correct flow of compliance and audit documentation between the regional offices and Corporate.

Accountabilities:

• Perform testing for Corporate IT General Controls on a quarterly basis. Train the regions and audit their review outcomes to ensure company audit standards.
• Assist IT Compliance Lead on drafting and modifying policies and procedures. Prepare and design audit review templates to facilitate IT General Control testing.
• Work with internal and external auditors during the review period.
• Meet with the business to evaluate business processes and update necessary documentation.
• Monitor access management process by preparing weekly reports and identify compliance risk.
• Responsible for reviewing all IT Projects from a Solutions Delivery Framework perspective.
• Walkthrough and evaluate physical security inspection of data center.
• Perform other related duties, as assigned.
• Ensure IT policies & procedures are being complied by Global users through periodic review procedures.

Minimum Skills Required:

• 2+ years of experience in IT Compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology and/or equivalent work experience.
• Understanding of the segregation of duties, change management, software management, security, incident handling.
• Assists internal audit team and serves as a liaison with external auditors to facilitate auditing process.
• Conduct and ensure validation of IT General Control effectiveness.
• Prepare for audit/compliance programs to ensure ongoing evaluation and validation of ITGC control effectiveness; perform other duties as assigned.
• Analytical, Organization, administration and decision-making skills.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
