What You'll Do:

• Develop, Support, Troubleshoot, and Document

• • Work closely with business managers and end users to understand their processes and procedures.
  • Test and document application customizations, fixes, and interfaces.
  • Consult with users, technology liaisons, applications support personnel, and developers when researching solutions.
  • Learn to provide JD Edwards functional/application support for managed services and/or projects using creative and critical thinking skills.
  • Learn JD Edwards development (foundational, RDA, FDA, UDOs) using identified best practices, and procedures.
  • SQL and Scripting languages.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot daily, weekly, monthly, and annual processes.
  • Identify process improvements, requirements, and document within Solution Design Documents and Technical Specifications as needed.
  • Structures and organizes own work to deliver individually on priorities and client needs to drive results.
  • Creation and maintenance of unit, acceptance, and integration test scripts.

• Client Engagement
  • Perform billable work for clients for assigned statements of work including managed services and discrete projects.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience
  • Required: At least 2 years of relevant financial experience
  • Required: The capability to learn JD Edwards and provide JD Edwards functional support. You will work in or be exposed to the following JD Edwards modules:
    • Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, Job Cost)
    • Manufacturing
    • Distribution
    • Procurement
    • Real Estate
    • HR/Payroll
  • Desired: 2+ years of experience as a JDE User/Power User in a variety of Accounting/Finance areas
  • Desired: ERP user (Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics) with a broad functional knowledge of accounting processes.
  • Desired: Experience in a professional services or consulting company
  • Desired: Light experience with JDE development
  • Light experience with and understanding of common business processes and transaction processing
  • Competent working on Level 1 difficulty tickets

Education

A four-year college degree or 2 years of direct experience and certifications.
