IT END USER SUPPORT SPECIALIST

The primary purpose of this position is to be the face of IT to many of our users. By providing first and second level user and system support of traditional business, PC and messaging systems, you will be enabling our business users directly. While our Service Desk will be fielding the service calls, engagement with the end-user community should be your desire. Exceptional user experience is your mission.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Engage users and fulfill their needs by taking work from onboarding systems, ticketing systems, and drive-by requests
  • Work on multiple platforms, from User ID creation and deletion in various systems, to enablement in O365, to the use of SCCM
  • Assist in application installation and configuration, as well as support both on-site and remote users
  • Expect to perform equipment procurement and disposal as processes are defined
  • Identify where we need process and procedure improvement

REPORTING STRUCTURE

  • This position reports to the IT End User Support Manager.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge of Ticketing Systems
  • Computer Hardware; Software Troubleshooting
  • Familiar with Imaging using SCCM
  • Strong background with Windows 10, Office 365, MS AD
  • User Administration for Active Directory
  • Knowledge of Office 365 Licensing and Assignment
  • Familiar with basic Microsoft Teams Telephony administration
  • Desktop support knowledge; fixing Microsoft Office products
  • Installation and management of software (updates, tools, etc.)
  • Customer Service Support over the phone or on-site
  • Remote Support knowledge
  • Networking / troubleshooting knowledge (Break / Fix)
  • General knowledge of IT Support client handling; customer service scenarios
  • Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
