IT DIS Proximity Technician

Summary: Seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist for onsite work, focusing on PC setup, troubleshooting, and IT facilities maintenance, with a strong background in network fundamentals and desktop hardware.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or hold a Green Card.
• 100% onsite work commitment.

Skills:

• Three to five years of related experience with network fundamentals.
• Excellent technical knowledge of PCs and desktop hardware.
• Technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
• Proficiency in operating tools, components, and peripheral accessories.
• Experience with Windows 10.
• Familiarity with enterprise backup software.
• Working knowledge of SCCM, Active Directory (AD), and remote-control tools.

Job Responsibilities:

• Setting up new PCs.
• Troubleshooting PC issues, including hands-on support for site network and servers.
• Conducting routine checks on site IT facilities, managing stock control, and providing front office support.
• Customizing desktop hardware to meet user specifications and site standards.
• Addressing hardware and application support queries and issues reported to the service desk and IT Manager.
• Educating end users on basic software, hardware, and peripheral device operations.

Pay Details: $16.00 to $21.00 per hour
