Conagra Brands is looking for a Delivery Manager, Data Engineering to join our Data and Analytics team and lead the delivery of enterprise data products and Data Engineering services that support our business goals and strategies. As a Delivery Manager, Data Engineering, you will work with a cross-functional team of data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and product owners to design, develop, and deploy data solutions using cloud-based technologies such as Azure Databricks, Snowflake, and more. You will also manage the delivery lifecycle, from planning and prioritization to testing and deployment, ensuring quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction. You will also collaborate with other Delivery Managers, portfolio managers, and stakeholders to align the Data Engineering roadmap with the business strategy and objectives.
You Will:
- Facilitate Program Increment (PI) preparation and planning. Including facilitation of decomposing epics to features and maintenance of product level Kanban board and calendar
- Manage dependencies across the portfolio, shared services, and other platforms
- Delivery and explanation of metrics against program increments and sprints
- Produce status reports and portfolio level communications
- Portfolio resource capacity management
- Establish testing plans and evaluation of defects
- Oversee cutover plan execution and release management
- Accountable for transition of new products to support and operational excellence of products in portfolio
- Liaison to support team for incident resolution/escalation
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university preferred or 8 years' experience in Data Engineering or related field
- Experience delivering products using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Experience working as a Delivery Manager or similar role in Data Engineering or data analytics domain
- Experience delivering custom data solutions using cloud-based technologies such as Azure Databricks, Snowflake, etc.
- Experience working with Data Engineering and data science teams and tools
- Communicated technical concepts to leadership and business concepts to technical resources
- Experience working within JIRA / Confluence
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI
- Travel up to 10%
- At this time, we require applicants for this role to be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship either now or in the future
- Work onsite 3 days per week in our Omaha, NE office: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
