IT Data Analyst

HopeWest is looking for our first Data Analyst to join the IT team. This position will be a fully in-person requirement with ability to drive between our different Grand Junction locations when needed. We are looking for someone that has already developed the skills and experience to be the first person in this role for our organization, to pave the way into Data Analytics within our healthcare realm.

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The IT Data Analyst position will ensure that all aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation, and visualization using Microsoft Power BI, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, and other business analytics tools are in place to support the data needs of the organization. In addition, systems will be in place to ensure that data is transformed into readable, goal-oriented reports that drive innovation and growth. Collaboration with team members is essential to understand organizational and operational challenges.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis using Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, Data Factory, Power Query, MDX, DAX, etc.).
• Experience creating complex reports and dashboards, visualizing data through best practices.
• Comprehensive experience with data modeling that support business needs.
• Solid knowledge of SQL Data Warehousing and database fundamentals such as multidimensional database and relational database design in addition to connecting to multiple data sources.
• Strong data analysis skills, including experience with SQL, Python, and Excel.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of business processes and reporting needs.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to self-manage, work independently, and collaborate as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

• Pay range of $36.00-$42.00/hourly ($74,880-$87,360 annually) for this exempt/salaried position
