Our IT Compliance Analyst has an important role in helping the organization exceed and maintain regulatory standards so that we can deliver upon this vision and serve our customers every day. The Compliance Analyst acts as a liaison between IT control owners and Montana State Fund (MSF) employees to oversee customer complaint handling process, financial market conduct examinations, and researches and develops the MSF regulatory compliance program.
The Compliance Analyst requires accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent collaboration. They are critical in aligning and influencing multiple stakeholders, leading projects and initiatives, and also need to be highly self-directed so that compliance can be sustained and proactive. Required Skills
What you will do
IT Compliance: Manages and updates policies and procedures related to IT compliance. Provides support during audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and accurate. Conducts pre-audit assessments to verify the organization's readiness and compliance. Responsible for submissions for the Information Technology Policy Review (ITPR). Coordinates and facilitates audit activities, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration.
Compliance Coordination: Attend department meetings to facilitate coordination and alignment meetings. Perform spot checks to ensure ongoing compliance with changing regulations and practices. Stay informed on compliance issues and share insights with relevant departments. Coordinate compliance efforts across departments and projects. Lead compliance related projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to standards.
Strategy Alignment: Support enterprise view of organizational policies and ensure consistency in approach across departments. Partner with different departments to ensure effective compliance practices. Manage and schedule compliance related work across MSF.
Required Experience
What you will need (minimum qualifications)
1. Bachelor's degree in IT, business, or related field AND four (4) years' experience in progressively increasing roles of responsibility or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Strong understanding of IT compliance regulations and legal standards.
Preferred:
•Experience working in insurance management and/or insurance regulation including experience in property and casualty insurance preferred.
Job location: This is a hybrid position, requiring routine work in the Helena, Montana office location. Candidate must be able to travel to Helena office weekly as needed.
Compensation: Annual compensation starts at $75,600-$94,500 per year. This is an exempt position.
