Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington.

Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS) is an integral team within Fred Hutch’s Finance department providing critical links among the scientific programs, Finance and technology professionals to maximize the value of financial business applications. Under limited supervision, the Business Process Analyst III will support the needs of the Finance, Accounting and AR/Billing groups, Procurement and Accounts Payable utilizing PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain expertise to collaboratively find areas where performance and processes can be improved and help develop strategies that support the merging of clinical and research finance processes where appropriate.

 

This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely.

 


  • Drive strategy execution through designing new business models, streamlining and reengineering existing Business Processes while providing support through change management
  • Examine emerging business best practices and technological developments that can help to automate and streamline processes to help businesses perform more efficiently.
  • Assess business requirements and make evidence-based recommendations to support process improvements.
  • Carry out analysis of present processes and identify opportunities to enhance processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate process improvement project activities
  • Inspect effectiveness of active process improvement initiatives and make useful recommendations

  • Bachelor’s degree or Business Process Management certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Business Process analysis
  • In-depth knowledge of process improvement techniques
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • A mindset capable of both strategic and operational thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

The annual base salary range for this position is from $93,101 to $139,630, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
