Qualifications:
At least 5 - 6 years combined technical and functional business experience, with a minimum of 3 years Information Technology experience functioning as a technical Advisor or Principle. - Demonstrated success in being solicited for, and providing, input to strategic business plans involving technology by the customer. - Demonstrated ability to successfully perform analysis, support, training, reporting, testing, and project management across multiple, complex system implementations with custom and third-party applications - Proficient skills using the MS Office suite and process modeling tools - Experience with client-server architecture and application support methodology. - Experience with structured development methodology - Experience with relational databases and queries - Hands-on technical experience in coding, system administration/engineering, database administration, etc. - Functional management experience - Experience in media, news, and/or entertainment industry preferred - 2 years functional experience in HR, accounting, or other business function (excluding direct IT experience) - BS in Computer Science, MIS, business, or equivalent education/training/experience. Advanced degree preferred. - Professional certification in business or IT (e.g., consulting, PeopleSoft, ITIL) preferred
