Within our Cybersecurity Division, we are seeking an experienced and motivated ISSO/Systems Engineer with unique programming skills to join our team and contribute to our mission.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled ISSO/Systems Engineer with expertise in C/C++ and implementation of NETCONF and YANG protocols. A successful candidate will be responsible for developing software solutions that are critical to mission success.

Key Responsibilities:

• The primary job for this person will be to evaluate Fortify and SonarQube findings and determine disposition to address any findings. Some SW development skills desired to assist customer in responding to the findings.
• Direct software coding in C/C++.
• Exercise YANG protocols to model configuration, state data, and administrative actions manipulated by the NETCONF.
• Exercise NETCONF protocols, XML encoding to support the install, manipulation, and deletion of the configuration of network devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, deploy, and sustain software solutions.
• Documenting work.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into engineering design and software specifications.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve our engineering services and software solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in C/C++ programming.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with NETCONF and YANG protocols.
• Technical writing ability.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications (not required but a plus):

• Experience coding in C Sharp.
• Experience in national security, defense industry, or related sectors.
• Knowledge of NIST, DoD, and Industry cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience using on-line collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Atlassian Confluence & JIRA, etc.
• Experience with DevSecOps and agile development methodologies.

Location: VA Hybrid with travel to client site in AZ.
