POSITION OVERVIEW

The ISO Management Representative will be part of a team responsible for the Continuous Improvement of Imprimus Labels and Packaging's Quality Management System (QMS), with the primary responsibilities for the ongoing monitoring and maintenance of that system. This is a site-specific position supporting our operations in Brea, California. The ISO Management Representative will report to the Director of Operations and work closely with all levels of management to facilitate compliance with the QMS.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Be the ISO Management Representative.

  • Ensure that company third-party accreditations are obtained and maintained (ISO 9001:2015).

  • Assist the ISO team with continuously improving the quality management system (QMS).

  • Ensuring the management system is established, documented, implemented, and maintained following ISO ISO 9001:2015 expectations.

  • Investigate product quality issues in Quarantine and determine the disposition of Internal Nonconformance entered into the ERP system. Support root cause analysis and corrective action plan development to resolve external/internal customer complaints.

  • Act as a document control agent to create/revise/obsolete plant-specific documents stored on the company server.

  • Revise/Maintain a Master List of documents as needed.

  • Create and Issue Quality Alerts to address corrective action and raise-the-bar activities.

  • Administer the Calibration program for the plant and maintain the calibration log.

  • Participate and lead meeting events relevant to improving quality assurance.

  • Establish a process flow mapping to track the continual improvement of the QMS.

  • Review the Preventive and Corrective Action activities. Confirm that proper resources have been allocated and tasks are performed promptly and thoroughly.

  • Organize effective, quality training programs.

  • Coordinate, conduct, and assist with ISO training.

  • Conduct regular ISO audits to ensure compliance and identify standards that require attention.

  • Provide regular implementation updates on the progress of ISO.

Qualifications, Experience, and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a four-year Technical and/or Industrial Management college.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in ISO in a manufacturing environment

  • Internal Auditing experience and knowledge.

  • ASQ Certification is preferred.

Physical Demands: This position works in both an office and a production environment and requires wearing foot and other personal protective equipment while performing duties in a manufacturing setting. May continuously stand for a period and stoop and kneel. May handle, feel, and reach for items in and around the press area; write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking, lifting, and moving up to 40 lbs may be required. Vision: close vision, distance, and color vision to distinguish color variations, peripheral and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Cannot be color blind. The noise level in the manufacturing area is usually medium to loud. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. Must be able to work overtime as required by workload and customer-mandated deadlines. The physical demands described above represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
