Minimum requirements:

\n

\n

\n

• 5+ years of experience supporting IBM i systems as a system administrator.

\n

• 5+ years of experience with IBM iSeries hardware and software.

\n

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

\n

• 5+ years of experience in AS400 Security Management, Communications, Operating System Upgrades and PTF deployment, Independent Auxiliary Storage Pools (iASP's), and Storage Based Replication.

\n

• 5+ years of experience with iSeries work management including creating and modifying subsystems, OUTQ?s, JOBQ?s, JOBDs, etc.

\n

• Has performed at least one major system hardware upgrade and at least one major operating system upgrade.

\n

• 3+ years of experience in high availability software and multiple data centers, such as MIMIX and/or IBM HA.

\n

\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n

• Experience managing and analyzing database and audit journals.

\n

• Experience with BRMS, Robot Scheduler, and Advanced Job Scheduler.

\n

• Experience with Aldon, Performance Navigator (MPG), PowerTech Network Security and TrailblClienter software.

\n

• Networking skills for configuring and troubleshooting network connections.

\n

• Practical understanding and experience with disaster recovery procedures and network security.

\n

• Demonstrated capability in vendor relationship and contract management.

\n

• Good knowledge of coding using RPG and DB2.
