What is the job about?
The IS Onsite Assistant will provide IS Onsite Services to Peerless Pump in our Indianapolis, IN location. This responsibility will include services for the office of < 100 employees. The Engineer will support IS applications/services and performs Hardware Asset Management Lifecycle services in the local company. The role will also participate in local IS projects e.g. Infrastructure Lifecycle changes and IT Security projects. This role will be a 6 month contract to potential full time hire out of the Indianapolis site. This will be an on-site 5 days per week in the office role. Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.
Your main responsibilities:
- Planning and executing Hardware Asset Management Lifecycle services at local company e.g., PC's, Tablets, Monitors, standard meeting room equipment, Phones, Printers etc.
- Order/Purchasing standard IT equipment
- Local responsible for IT Processes, Services, Infrastructure Equipment and possible local IT Contracts e.g., Phone Subscriptions
- Providing VIP and IS Partner support locally
- Supporting standard IS applications/services and ensures Service availability
- Act as the prolonged arm for global IS colleagues at local company
- Performing IS trainings/knowledge transfer for Business Colleagues locally
- Driving IT Security Culture locally
Your background
We imagine that you have:
A technical degree in IT or equivalent experience. 1-3 years relevant IT experience. English fluency required.
