Irrigation Technician

Kerry’s Landscaping is growing & we are looking for hard-working individuals to join our Irrigation Repair Team. We are looking for people with reliable transportation that are available on weekdays. Kerry’s is looking for an individual with experience with irrigation or a plumbing background. If you are hardworking, and love to work as a team, Kerry’s Landscaping needs you! Experience with Irrigation Systems & Repairs

• Job Qualifications:
• Ability to bend, stoop and walk across many types of terrain and elevations
• Able to pick up 30 pounds repeatedly and 40 pounds or more on occasion
• Able to operate gas-powered saws, blowers, weed trimmers, mowers, utility tractors, skid steer, mini-ex equipment, and dump truck
• Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED
• Dependable with attendance and work performance
• People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects
• Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
• Achievement-oriented -- enjoys taking on challenges, and learning new things
• Autonomous/Independent -- enjoys working with little direction at times
• Innovative -- prefers working in unconventional ways or on tasks that require creativity

Responsibilities

· As an Irrigation Technician, your responsibilities are to be on time to work, have your own transportation to and from work, wear your provided safety equipment at all times, as well as be honest and hardworking with a positive attitude

· Be able to repair and troubleshoot rainbird sprinkler systems

· Load trailers for worksite daily

· Keep truck cab, bed, and trailer clean and organized for optimum efficiency

Job Duration:

· Year round with summer months landscaping/sprinkler repairs & installs, and winter months aiding in snow removal.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
