KBR's Government Solutions U.S. (GS US) advances the priorities of the United States government and related commercial entities. We provide expertise in scientific research, systems engineering, data analytics and mission operations, and offer a range of high-end services in a portfolio that spans defense modernization; military, civil and commercial space; intelligence; cyber; global asset management; contingency and base operations.
Our Science and Space Business Unit provides solutions for NASA, federal-civilian agencies, the U.S. Department of Defense, and commercial customers. Services include astronaut training; health and human performance; spacecraft and satellite development; mission-oriented software development; mission and satellite operations; ground control; space communications; launch systems; and spacewalks. We also perform 24/7 command and control for the International Space Station and monitor seismic activity, weather, and biological, chemical, and nuclear threats.

KBR is looking for highly motivated rising Juniors, Seniors and Graduate/PhD students for our Summer Internship program . We are seeking candidates with a computer science background, software development and architecture opportunities that provide challenging and meaningful work experience to be a part of our 2024 Intern class.

Anticipated Skill Set:
- Major of Field Study: Computer Science, PhD in Biomedical/Protein Simulations
- Familiarity with machine learning on protein structures
- Experience with advanced machine learning such as diffusion models is more desirable.
- Computer science background, software development and architecture, proficient in RUST language, experience with ACTOR programming model, preferably having experience with BURN tools using RUST
Requirement:
