This organisation are the only training provider of high technical skills and quality delivery in the North East Institute of Technology. You will be a part of their engineering department which is constantly seeing high rates of growth and investment, their main goal is to strive in becoming a leading institute in the creation of engineering professionals through their developed apprenticeship courses.
In this role you will be tasked with assuring the quality of level 2 and 3 engineering technician apprenticeships, this will be performed through mapping the criteria within the qualification and how successfully practitioners deliver them. You will be isolating key skills and behaviours within the apprenticeship through 3 core areas: engineering, knowledge and competence.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Internal Quality Assurer who is engineering specific, looking to build and develop on their existing knowledge in the industry through internal progression and training. You will have a level 3 qualification in engineering as a qualified IQA, enabling you to hit the ground running.

The role
* Looks at the quality of assessment from lecturing/tutor staff
* Mapping out the skills and behaviours within the apprenticeship
* Manage the assurance of level 2 and 3 qualification in engineering technician course
The person
* Qualified IQA (D32/33/A1 or Level 3 in Internal Quality Assurance)
* Experience working within the engineering industry
* Level 3 qualification in engineering
* Level 2 in Math's and English
