ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The essential functions include:
- Assist the CalWORKs Program Manager in training staff on best practices, risk management and crisis intervention to the CalWORKs community
- Assist the CalWORKs Program Manager in documentation training for paperwork and all aspects of the CalWORKs program.
- Carry a caseload of CalWORKs/IPS clients.
- Provide clinical and administrative to CalWORKs staff.
- Meet with CalWORKs Program Manager weekly
- Oversee the Employment Specialists and the fidelity of the IPS program
- Attend DMH CalWORKs meetings for SPA 4 and SPA 3
- Assist in the facilitation and planning for inter-agency staff meetings, events, and trainings for CalWORKs
- Facilitate weekly Employment Specialist group supervision
- Meet weekly with Employment Specialists for individual supervision
- Participate and document Treatment Team Minutes for weekly Treatment Team meetings
- Develop and maintain relationship with Department of Rehabilitation
- Shadow new staff with clients as needed
- Participate in all internal CalWORKs chart audits and assist CalWORKs Program Manager in tracking findings and corrections
- Participate in LPS on call
- Other duties as required

Equipment and Computer Software Skills and Abilities
- Computer literate (basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Able to use telephone, basic typing skills, office copier, calculator, fax machine, computer printer and scanner, or other equipment as required

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES
- Master's Degree in social welfare or counseling from an accredited college or university
- Experience in working in a field based or community based program with high risk and severely mentally ill clients who are identified as hard to reach and under-served
- Experience in and a mastery of documentation practices
- Registered and in good standing with the BBS, licensed preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
- Valid California driver's license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier
CQI STATEMENT

SALARY RANGE:
$70,000 - 74,500 annual compensation salary
