Device Repair Tech — Level 1: Job Description

Purpose: Looking for qualified cell phone repair technician with a minimum of two years of experience troubleshooting and repairing iPhones. You will be providing repair services on today’s most popular smartphones, tablets, laptops, and more. Customer service skills are a must.

Tasks & Responsibilities:- Ensure that all repairs preformed meet the company’s quality standards

- Assist with answering the phone, moving supplies, cleaning the shop and other tasks- Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of customer service- Keep track of inventory and customer devices- Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of store and repair stations- Maintain positive work environment- Disassemble, test, and replace defective parts- Reassemble complete device- Support productivity by ensuring all request are handled in a timely manner- Have the ability to work unsupervised while prioritizing and deliveringtimely, high quality work

Qualifications:- Incredible customer service skills and "can-do" attitude- High school diploma or GED- Minimum 2 years cell phone repair experience in a retail. NO EXCEPTIONS- Strong attention to detail- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Fluent in English, other languages a plus- Strong computer proficiency, both hardware and software- Work well in team environment and be acollaborative team player- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays- Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changingenvironment

Technician duties are greeting customers, logging their information into the CRM tool, contacting customers when phone is ready through multiple methods of contact.Iidentifying cell phone problems, fixing issues, running tests, assessing functionality, replacing parts, and maintaining repair records. Essential job skills are technical abilities, troubleshooting, customer service, time management, problem solving, and computer competences.

- Creative. We do NOT want you to work in a vacuum. If you can think of new ways for us to improve, we are open to your thoughts and will compensate you accordingly!

What we offer:

Quite simply, the most progressive and highest paying job in this part of the cell phone repair business. We will either pay you a base amount plus commission on every cell phone repair and/or accessory sold or, go with the traditional pay rate currently available.

If you want to make money, pick the first option. Only those that are qualified and experienced will understand this. We have an uncapped opportunity and you will be the only cell phone repair tech for the foreseeable future. We want you to make a good living. Are you prepared to work, honor your repairs, and do what it takes to help draw business in? Again, you will NOT be competing with others for the cell phone repair revenue. We want you to handle it all.

Do NOT apply if you do not have current, documented and verified 2 years or more experience repairing todays' smart phones and tablets. Mostly glass/screens but, other components need repair as well. The more you help sell and market, the more you make. Otherwise, you are relegating yourself to a fixed income similar to other shops.

If you like, we will even craft a plan that makes sense for you. We ask that you are reliable, will pass a drug screen and thorough background check and be willing to put in the time. We will even consider a straight contractor arrangement where you can be your own boss if you prefer.

Are you hearing us? NO ONE offers this much flexibility on how YOU will get paid. If you are a performer, step forward. If you are looking for "just a paycheck" then this is probably not the best place for you.

We have an incredibly comfortable work atmosphere with nice owners. We only want one, solid cell repair tech at this point. We are NOT looking to take on an army. That's good news for the one that gets selected.
