BASIC PURPOSE: The Invoice Verifier will review and verify the validity of freight invoices, bills of lading (BOLs), and rate confirmations sheets.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review freight invoices, rate sheets, and bills of lading for accuracy and completeness.
- Identifying and noting discrepancies for exceptions handling and processing.
- Scanning, entering, and coding key data fields into various software programs and databases.
- Maintain steady workflow and manage meeting of deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Communicate with customers and team members.
- Handle additional duties as needed.
JOB LOCATION, SCHEDULE & PAY:
- Location:
- Love's corporate office in Oklahoma City (located at 3601 NW 63rd Street, OKC, OK 73116).
- Work Schedule/Work Hours:
- This will be a full-time position/Monday-Friday position.
- Typical hours will be 8am-5pm and working overtime may be required depending on business need.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Education:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience:
- 1-2 years’ experience in transportation (trucking), billing, invoicing, banking, or customer service environment preferred. Accounting background is a plus.
- 10 Key experience is a plus.
- Accounting background is a plus
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high-volume office or productive environment
- Quick study, self-motivated, ability to meet deadlines, ability to adjust, and comfortable with change.
SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Skills:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of freight, transportation, and/or logistics industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and word along with the ability to navigate a computer.
- Typical Physical Demands:
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
