Job description

Come join us on our journey to serve our customers and be the leader in the Business Purpose Lending industry! We are currently looking for an Investor Lending Consultantto join our Constructive Capital team. This is a Remote role.

Reporting to the Non-Producing Branch Manager, the Investor Lending Consultant proactively solicits investors of non-owner-occupied properties with the intent of assisting them with both purchase & refinance transactions. The role will offer both Fix & Flip and business purpose loans with a focus on meeting established loan quality and production goals.

The role is a sales position in a call center environment to originate business. The role is responsible for building a book of business by attending events in local communities, promoting company lending products through social media, and developing a network of investors and brokers.

What you will do for Constructive Capital:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with investors, including individuals, real estate developers, and institutional clients
  • Convert internal digital marketing leads from outbound dialer campaigns into customers
  • Provide personalized guidance and develop tailored lending solutions that meet client's needs and align with their investment strategies
  • Build long-term client relationships and offer ongoing support, addressing inquiries, and proactively identifying lending opportunities
  • Conduct due diligence on investment projects to evaluate feasibility, risk factors, and potential returns
  • Stay current on market trends, regulatory changes, and lending products to provide informed advice on the best lending strategies for clients
  • Collaborate with credit analysts, underwriters, and legal professionals to facilitate the lending process and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
  • Partner closely with sales teams and loan officers to develop marketing strategies and promote lending products to prospective clients
  • Develop a business referral network through prospecting and networking activities
  • Conduct interviews with prospective clients to analyze financial and credit data, determine customer financing objectives, advise customers of product/pricing policies and guidelines, and gather any additional required information
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, demonstrating a commitment to professional ethics, complying with all Federal and State compliance policies and adhering to HMDA requirements
  • Stay updated on lending industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure adherence throughout the lending process
  • Review and analyze credit, financial data, and business structures
  • Determine client’s financing objectives and goals present appropriate loan products and programs and explain guidelines
  • Utilize pricing sheets, product guidelines, and restrictions and convey accurate information to Guarantor(s)
  • Collect supporting loan documentation as required and provide complete package for processing
  • Attend and complete all Department and Company required training
  • Develop domain knowledge of business to include an understanding of organizational objectives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and practices.
  • Role model ethical standards, professionalism, and code of conduct
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What you will bring to Constructive Capital:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School diploma/GED)
  • 5+ years’ experience in sales lending or similar, preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in the lending, mortgage, servicing, or similar industry, preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience in customers service, preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in an outbound call center, preferred
  • Knowledge of business structures like LLC, LP, SP, and others
  • Knowledge of state-specific requirements
  • Experience in Encompass or similar software preferred
  • Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
