Job Description
We are currently searching for an Investment and Retirement Benefits Consultant for our client. This consultant position will be responsible for serving as the primary contact to institutional clients for the delivery and coordination of all aspects of the client relationship. The primary client type includes defined contribution plans, benefit plans, foundations, endowments, and corporate assets. In addition, the Investment and Retirement Benefits Consultant will assist the business development team in its role of developing new business and new clients.
Responsibilities- Serve clients through regular client communication and client meetings.
- Follow, establish, and maintain scalable processes to increase the effectiveness of service delivery and business development activities.
- Develop and review collateral, presentations, materials, mailings, and emails to support client service and business development.
- Write, proofread, and edit proposals and materials as needed.
- Manage the content systems used to serve clients and for business development. (ie CRM and other business development-oriented software)
- Assist with the generation of leads through emails, phone calls, and centers of influence.
- Contribute to reporting on metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of activities.
Skills, Certifications, and Experience required for the successful candidate:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Human Resources, Employee Benefits, or other related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in client-facing consulting services on defined contribution plans.
- Business Development experience is a plus!
- Proficiency in CRM software programs such as Salesforce or MS Dynamics.
- CFA, CPA, CFP, or CEBS designation is preferred. May also be in process or working towards any of these designations.
