Description of Responsibilities:
As an Investment Research Associate, your primary responsibility is to assist analysts by managing the documentation inbox and conducting research on additional documentation received from auditors. You'll collaborate closely with the valuation team to ensure the timely delivery of client reports by following established protocols. This role involves analyzing data for accuracy, performing client follow-ups on incomplete documentation, and executing internal pricing procedures for alternative investments. Additionally, you'll be tasked with researching various financial instruments and undertaking other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Power Point, and Word
- Proficient with virtual meeting tools including Zoom and Microsoft Teams
- Organizational skills (ability manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment)
- Demonstrated, professional and effective verbal and written communication skills
MUST RESIDE IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS
Preferred Skills:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, economics, or a related field, with experience in Investment Research and valuation analysis. A solid understanding of financial markets and instruments is essential. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are also key qualifications.
