This position reports directly to our Chief Financial Officer. This position is office based and not a remote position.
What you will be doing:
- Special projects for the Finance Department including Bitcoin Mining operations and accounting, real estate accounting and investment management accounting
- Daily monitoring of Bitcoin mining operations
- Daily monitoring of Bitcoin Wallets
- Assist with Bequest invoice processing
- Oversight of Mining Operations Operater and joint Venture Partner
- Liaison with Mining Operator and his accountant and assist with bill processing.
- Interaction with other finance department members to assist in daily entry processing for various Bequest entities.
- Attend Bequest staff meetings each weekday morning and Finance Department staff meetings each Tuesday morning.
Minimum skills required:
- MUST HAVE ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE
- Command of the English language
- Beginner to Intermediate MS Excel skills, and a working knowledge of MS Word and Outlook emails.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks online is optimal but not mandatory
- Working towards a Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Students that are entering their Senior year in the fall.
- Live locally and commit to being in the office at 7:30AM each morning.
Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
