Summary of Position:

We are seeking a candidate for our 9-week summer internship program with the aim of developing future leaders and advancing the field of investment management and advisory practice. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a desire to apply those skills to real world problems related to investment advisory and management.

Key projects that will be executed under the direction of the Director of Investments will include:

• Enhancement of investment screening tools
• Build out of investment monitoring framework
• Advisor dashboards focused on visualization of information

The position is full-time, in-office for 9 weeks and is a paid, non-exempt position.

Internship Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the investment team to collect, clean, and pre-process financial data for analysis.
• Develop and implement predictive models to assist in identifying potential investment opportunities.
• Conduct data-driven research and analysis to support investment strategies and risk management.
• Assist in the development of data visualization tools and dashboards for tracking and reporting.
• Contribute to ongoing projects related to quantitative analysis and machine learning.

Qualifications:

Our internship program focuses on hiring rising senior undergraduate students who meet most or all of the following:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or similar.
• Familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Tidyverse), machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Matplotlib, Seaborn, GGPlot).
• Basic knowledge of financial concepts and investment strategies is not required, but a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident or possess other unrestricted U.S. work authorization and will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future
