The ICS Senior Specialist provides team leadership. Based on role, acts as a backup to the manager. Responsibilities include independently resolving issues in brokerage and advisory accounts including escalated issues and inquiries from home office leaders and field staff. Takes a leadership role as a technical expert and is responsible for identifying proactive solutions. Participates in cross functional projects and committees. Assists manager in the oversight of day-to-day operations, including developing, recommending and implementing new policies and procedures. Is involved in or supervises the scheduling of processing and call center support including monitoring team service levels. Independently seeks, investigates and implements process improvements. Provides coaching and training to less experienced team members including both management and non-management staff.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the fees & billing team processes.
  • Review and analyze reports to determine best course of actions to update billing system and custodial system to correctly bill our clients.
  • Research and resolve a variety of inquiries from internal teams related to fee and billing processes.
  • Responsible for monitoring, reconciling, and executing events in the investment advisory fee cycle to ensure proper billing and adjustments impacting customer accounts and advisor compensation.
  • Takes a leadership role as a technical expert and is responsible for identifying proactive solutions.
  • Participates in cross functional projects and committees.
  • Resolves a variety of investment operations inquiries that have been escalated from the home office and field staff. Uses industry knowledge and analytical skills to resolve problems. Handles cases that are escalated from team member.
  • Participates in process improvements, product introduction, or system enhancements across the department. Participates in system testing for projects and system maintenance that requires operational expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent industry experience.
  • Broad professional knowledge of the investment industry gained through a minimum of three to five years in an investment service or operations capacity.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and confidence to make judgments and decisions involving ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated initiative to investigate, recognize, and solve problems.
  • Strong Excel and/or other database management skills.
  • Familiarity with Investment advisory accounts operations.
  • Knowledge of NetX360 or Envestnet preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed with the ability to manage multiple assignments with minimal guidance or direction.
  • Depending on the specific job responsibilities assigned, this position could either require a minimum of a FINRA Series 6 or FINRA Series 7.

This position has been classified as an Associated Person under NMIS guidelines and requires fingerprinting and completion of required form.

Pay Range - Start:
$53,760.00
Pay Range - End:
$99,840.00
