Investigator
The law firm of Scott + Scott LLP is seeking an experienced Investigator to join the firm’s in-house investigation department. The Investigator will work under the direction of attorneys and will gather facts through witness interviews and open-source research, and prepare reports describing investigative findings.

Requirements
Candidates must demonstrate superior skills necessary for analyzing particular case background information, formulating questions necessary to elicit required information from witnesses, making daily telephone calls and posing questions to prospective witnesses, listening for and extracting relevant facts from witnesses, and organizing that information and writing detailed reports.
- Four to eight years of relevant experience in fact gathering through interviews and OSINT.
- Experience with legal and investigative databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, TLO, Pacer, Bloomberg Law, Factiva, etc.).
- BS or BA Degree required, Master’s degree a plus.
- Background in research and investigation, litigation, accounting/auditing, and/or investigative journalism helpful, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
