Organizational Location: These positions are located in the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations, in Austin, Texas, Corpus Christi, Texas, El Paso, Texas, Fort Pierce, Florida, Long Beach, California, McAllen, Texas, New Orleans, Louisiana, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, San Francisco, California, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Spring, Texas.Qualifications: Please limit your resume to 5 pages. You qualify for the GS-06 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-5 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:

  • Providing support to higher-graded employees;
  • Preparing documents for use in an official capacity (e.g., investigations, legal matters); and
  • Extracting and sorting information obtained from databases, files, or records.

You qualify for the GS-07 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-6 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
  • Conducting complex searches using a variety of databases;
  • Summarizing information found from database searches; and
  • Preparing reports.
