What You'll Do:
- Analyze domain name system information and website content and conduct independent open-source research to write reports under strict deadlines
- Produce accurate, well-researched, and well-written analyses in which the logic used to reach conclusions is clearly stated
- Complete and submit reports by given deadlines
- Demonstrate sound judgment in determining what information is relevant in a report
- Continue to improve client reports by applying feedback so that minimal rework is needed
- Accurately classify websites according to LegitScript guidelines
- Stay informed of market trends by reading relevant resources shared by team members
- Seek opportunities to improve investigative program work via new tools/techniques, strategies, and process improvements
- Demonstrate proficiency in applicable computer programs
What You'll Bring:
- Background or skills in professional writing and editing
- Superior attention to detail with extra emphasis on grammar, punctuation, sentence syntax, and formatting
- Excellent problem-solving skills as well as the ability to use good judgment and make strong independent decisions
- Clear and professional communication (written and verbal)
- Ability to work under deadline pressure
- Resourcefulness and knowledge of internet investigative techniques
- Insatiable curiosity and a love for problem-solving
