Job Summary

  • The Inventory Tech will be working with the dispensary’s secure internal procedures for the receipt, transport, storage, and organization of product inventory. Duties include, receiving and stocking incoming inventory, filling in-store and online orders with the correct products, performing daily audits of all inventory in-store, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace and vault areas. This is a team-oriented position with attention to detail and computer and math skills.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to ensure the adequate stocking of products.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly audits as instructed by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager
  • Follow all hygiene and sanitation guidelines per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain the organization and overall cleanliness of the department and product storage areas
  • Maintain appropriate levels of supplies, notify management of low stock
  • Alert the General Manager or Assistant General Manager of any product quality, packaging, or labeling concerns
  • Organize all products by SKU, commodity group, and METRC tags in the vault and vault for sale
  • Ensure that the fulfillment of all POS or Online Express Orders are accurately packaged into bags with correct quantities, including all packaging and labeling that meets all local and state requirements
  • Attentive to all tickets printed, fulfill orders in an orderly and timely process
  • Organize and file all bags from incoming orders, communicate any issues or problems with orders to management
  • Make sure all correct product is saleable or unsaleable through POS
  • Add positive and constructive feedback on products that are slow moving or overstocked
  • Consistently perform inventory and product handling processes and procedures to be 100% compliant
  • Perform additional duties, as requested by management

Qualifications

  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Dispensary-related experience is required
  • METRC and cannabis inventory management software experience required
  • Must be friendly, outgoing, trustworthy, dependable, and hard-working
  • Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be a detail-oriented, clear communicator that can receive and deliver verbal and written communication. Should have the ability to solve and resolve problems in a calm, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Excellent work ethic, time management, reliability, organization, tidiness, and professionalism
  • Enthusiasm to learn about products and various cannabis applications
  • Understand and comply with all compliance and regulatory requirements
  • May be required to use a phone
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs., reach arms above head for inventory stocking, and stand for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Orleans

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
  • Must pass all required background checks.
  • Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
