Responsibilities
- Monitor changes with vendors and request updated lead times affecting internal supply and demand.
- Follow up with vendors on open purchase orders and discrepancies on incoming shipment receipts.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Create and prepare production travelers.
- Order inventory and monitor current inventory levels.
- Process inventory receipts and support the shipping receiving team with incoming shipments.
- Determine inventory quantities are sufficient for production needs, track internal orders and communicate inventory issues and concerns.
- Negotiate pricing and source alternative parts from vendors.
- Schedule and follow up with incoming freight shipments (logistics).

- Proven experience in inventory control, procurement and/or vendor relations
- Excellent time management and attention to detail skills with ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Organizational skills for proficient work
- Ability to communicate professionally and proficiently
- Solid decision-making and problem solving skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
