Job Overview
Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and data integrity of all Inventories for Getinge, at the East Windsor warehouse. This includes the maintenance of the cycle count program, negative inventory balances, put away audits, Non-Conforming Materials (NCMRs) and data verification.
the hours of work is:
7:00am to 3:30pm
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Prepare and perform daily cycle count activities.
- Investigate and analyze discrepancies.
- Initiate recounts as required
- Report discrepancies to Lead/Supervisor.
- Perform put away audits and empty bin audits
- Assist with any physical inventory activities
- Initiate NCMRs as required for any non-conformance found and move accordingly on system.
- Verify approved NCMR and scrap requests
- Audit non-conforming area as required
- Verify and segregate all product scrap requests
Minimum Requirements
- High School Degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Inventory Control and Receiving.
- A minimum 1 year utilizing automated computer-based transaction-oriented systems at the proficient level.
- Level 1 forklift operator/PIT (Power Industrial Truck) operator (drives sit down and RC (counterbalance lift) forklifts to load, offload, move freight and perform high counts.
Must maintain certified training.
- Ability to learn and use SAP & Blue Yonder.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to analyze and solve problems independently
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Must be well organized, conscientious and detail oriented
- Basic skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Internal and External Contacts/Relationships
All levels of the Logistics team and related cross-functional teams at Getinge.
Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions
- Ensures environmental consciousness and safe practices are exhibited in decisions
- Use of computer and telephone equipment and other related office accessories/devices to complete assignments
- May work extended hours during peak business cycles
The base salary for this position is a minimum of $16.70/hour and a maximum of $25/hour
