Job Summary:
Audits summary reports from various inventory locations to ensure data aligns with perpetual inventory. Follows up on discrepancies and monitors adjustments for accuracy. Ensures proper inventory record keeping procedures are followed.
Major Job Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Compares on-hand inventory reports with perpetual inventory records. Identifies inventory discrepancies and follows up with appropriate location.
- Reviews entered inventory adjustments for accuracy. Follows up on questionable items and enters corrections as needed.
- Reviews accuracy of product information request forms. Creates and enters appropriate item codes into multiple inventory systems.
- Records daily shipments to and from outside storage and reconciles requested vs actual variances. Balances weekly inventory on hand reports with system tracking. Identifies discrepancies and follows up with appropriate location.
- Assists in preparation of Non-Manufactured Excess/Aged inventory reporting.
- Enters weekly product cost changes and distributes reports.
- Performs infrequent duties including, but not limited to:
- Participate in mock recall drill
- Update SOPs
- Assist with covering Inventory Control Specialists duties in their absence
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Moderate Excel skills; Proficient on 10-key calculator by touch
- Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy; Persistent in follow-through to resolve inventory discrepancies; Effective written and verbal communication skills; Ability to work independently
- Most time spent sitting. All duties require PC work with high concentration
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 year in Inventory or related field
